Sysgen Media is proud to announce the immediate availability of the next version of our Best Selling Component for Joomla!. The Joomla! Store Locator v1.7.5 adds a few major features as well as a host of bug fixes and compatibility updates. This version now includes support for Joomla! 2.5 as well as maintaining backwards compatibility for versions 1.6/1.6/1.7.

We added a Long Anticipated Tag manager System. You can now tag your locations with multiple tags defined in the admin area. Each tag can be assigned a unique icon allowing you to feature certain locations on the map with an icon that stands out. In addition you can now filter the search results by tags or hide the tag system completely. This is great for listing products and services that are at each location.

We also added another highly requested feature, Google Suggest. This will allow you to present the user with a choice of locations, should their search term be vague. For example, if you search Washington, did you mean the State, or Washington DC. This will help solve many issues with locations turning up no results when you know they exist in the database. This will also greatly help our international clients.

On top of these great features, we added many minor tweaks and enhancements including New Load Options, Updated Route Handling and many bug fixes. Check out the full changelog for additional details.

We have release a minor release including some new features and bug fixes for the Joomla! Store Locator.

We have added the ability to filter from an unlimited number of categories on the front end. You can now also filter by a single category, or switch to check-box mode and allow selection of multiple categories during a single search.  We have also added the ability to insert a Joomla! Article above or below the map to add additional text or images to your page. These changes will allow greater flexibility in customizing the locator on your website.

Aside from enhancements we also fixed some bugs in this release. Google implemented a new version of the Google Maps JS API v2 which caused some issues when making queries, so we have implemented a fix for this problem. It only seems to have affected Joomla 1.7 users, and is critical for continued smooth operation of the Store Locator on your site. We also added the Joomla base url to AJAX calls to help in situations with uncommon SEO url’s and settings.

Sysgen Media is proud to announce the release of the latest version of our Image Calendar for Joomla!, Image Calendar v1.4.0. This is a major release, beginning with integrated support for Joomla 1.6/1.7. In addition to now supporting the full Joomla line of products, we also included integration with the Joomla media selector to make it easier to select images from all your media folders. We added End Date support so events can span multiple days, and date/time formatting options to make international datetime formats more easily changed. Along with all these great changes, we fixed a lot of bugs and tweaked where necessary based on feedback from our users. Enjoy!

We have finally updated our FREE module for Joomla: OpenX Single Page Call. OpenX Single Page Call allows you to easily implement your OpenX tags into your Joomla site via a Single Page Call. Instead of making several calls to the ad server for pages with multiple ads, a single call loads the page much faster, without the delays associated with rendering each zone individually.

We added support for Joomla! 1.6. This is our first Joomla! 1.6 Native module and we are very excited to have it out in the market. Please try it out and let us know if you have any suggestions or feature improvements.

Sysgen Media is proud to announce the release of our latest revision of our Image Calendar Component for Joomla 1.5. We know its been a long time coming, and we didn’t want to wait any longer so we made a minor release with some great features.

In this release we have added Forward and Back navigation for the Month view, so that you users can now browse your calendar throughout time and see whats coming in the months ahead. We also added support for User Access levels (Public, Registered, Special) and added support for the Published and Unpublished state of individual calendar events.

Sysgen Media is proud to present the latest iteration of our Store Locator product for Joomla! 1.5. With this release the major addition is automatic support for Joom!Fish 2.0. This should round out our product to cater to the International Community which seems to be a large portion of our customer base. Now you can use the Joomla Language files for static text and Joom!Fish for all your database entries thus your entire installation is customizable.

The Store Locator 1.3.5 Installer will automatically install the necessary Joom!Fish content element files upon detection of a Joom!Fish installation. If you install Joom!fish after you have already installed the Store Locator you can simply reinstall the Store Locator or you can use the content element installer we provided for Joom!Fish as a separate download from our site.

We also updated the JavaScript system to be faster and no longer prints out ugly JavaScript in your code. All scripts are now included in a separate generated file.
